icarus Quartet joins forces with the NEXT Ensemble, Peabody’s premiere mixed vocal ensemble, to present Luigi Dallapiccola’s “Canti di prigionia (Songs of Imprisonment).” Alongside this performance, the two ensembles will be premiering a new work by Elijah Daniel Smith that reflects and connects with Dallapiccola’s original masterpiece.
